Since I worked today, I decided to share a little background about the Stupa in this photo. We finished renovating it just this past week, complete with a little informational display you can hardly see here in front. On the display there was some information I hadn't heard in a long while (funny how easy it is to forget), which inspired me to share some history with you here. So I'll start with the statue which sits in the gau (that alcove with all the new brocade we keep making such a fuss about). Who is he?....
