Norbu took this photo, and I figured I'd post it. It shows an area right in front of the Stupa, and gives a glimpse of the reality that we really do promote folks coming and just hanging out in front of the Stupas! All the Stupas have benches of some variety in front of them, whether they be granite or like this one. So when you come out, and are tired from circumambulating (we do encourage that if you can!), there is a place to rest. : )

My Dad called, and he and Mom are actually planning a trip out tomorrow! It is always a source of great joy to have my parents out, as I know how much benefit they'll get from visiting!

For ourselves, we have some work cut out for us. I'm thinking a gasket of some sort will work better than the caulk option for sealing the gau...more research to do. Hopefully Amber will be able to cart our plexiglas back to Reed Plastics so our one hole can be drilled out. : ) We may also tinker with the display for the Long Life Stupa!

Little by little we're getting it together...And as always, please do come out and visit these precious offerings to the world. They exist only to bring benefit to you, no matter who you are. You can refresh yourself in the temple solarium with some water or tea after your visit, and if you feel adventurous you could even tour the prayer room and gift store! Of course, the Stupas are all outdoors, and you need not ever set foot in the temple to enjoy them! So even if you're shy, there's a place for you here. ; ) Posted by Picasa
