We weren't sure we'd get through one coat of gold and burgundy on the spire...and it turns out we got to paint the lotus petals today also! The rain sprinkled on us a few minutes here and there, but not enough to disturb the paint at all! How fortunate! Cloudy and threatening all day we persevered faithfully, knowing we could get this done. Also knowing if it did rain hard and bled paint everywhere, we do have some white left over to deal with it!
