Finally, after about a 90 minute detour through expansive farm country I got to see Kyle face to face. We spent about 2 minutes together, but he was extremely friendly and patient. It turns out he is also a Buddhist (he recognized the robes), a Korean Zen Buddhist. How interesting is that? He placed the precious supplies in the back of my car and we parted ways...
