Caught a shot of Gretchen inside, sewing diligently. She will be making brocades for the Stupas, but today she and a gang are all striving to get text covers made. A contingent from the KPC sanghas (both Arizona and Maryland) is in the process of working with Mongolia to help re-establish the Nyingma Lineage in that ancient Buddhist country! Our teacher, Jetsunma Ahkon Lhamo is planning to travel there in a month, and wants to have many of our Dharma texts ready to take with her, so she may present them to the temple in Mongolia. You can check out the blog kept up by Konchog Norbu, one of our monks, who is there with Palzang, another of our monks, to establish the necessary connections and network with the Mongolian government to see how we can be of service to them. There is a link on this page. Konchog is a much more entertaining writer than myself, you'll enjoy the trip if you chose to click on the link! Posted by Picasa
