In case anyone out there (Mom) is worried that I'm not taking any breaks, here's a shot of my evening. : ) Since I didn't know until after 2 pm whether I'd be called in to work or not, and I didn't, I decided to actually
We'll be back out to the Stupas tomorrow, as planned though! There are repairs to be completed, and very soon it's going to be painting the Enlightenment Stupa! We're getting close to moving to Migyur Dorje. For those who may be considering coming out for the painting of the Stupa, my guess is we'll be ready by the weekend. Unfortunately, we won't have a crew leader this weekend (I work, Norbu works, and Lisa is on retreat), so it may not be until Monday next week. But if you're interested, it would be great to have you! And of course, we'll keep everyone posted here.
As you can see from the Stupa Park photo above, my devotion to the Stupas borders on addiciton... Whether I'm here trying to learn a new program on the pc, or out at the temple drinking in the beauty and quiet surrounding them, I will not cease to engage the effort until they are not only restored, but a firm plan is in place and in motion to keep them that way! Today the lesson was that a break can really be refreshing, and it left me wanting very much to get back out there! Tito should be joining us tomorrow as well as Ashby, so it's going to be a strong crew! As always, please do come out and see the Stupas for yourself if you can. You can see we are not ALWAYS there, and you can have them to yourself if you wish! And of course, if you want to come around while we're working to watch or ask questions, we'll be here! Here in Poolesville, and here online.
The Stupas exist for no other reason than to bring blessings, healing and peace to beings. How amazingly fortunate we all are to be able to serve them!
