With rain in the forecast again, and again the Stupa team assembled dressed and ready for action...but unable to act...we fell back to our default tasks of working out fund raising strategies, fine tuning our budget planning, and reworking our strategy for approaching Migyur Dorje (we're going to strip the bumpa and upper steps before building the platform, using ropes and ladders instead of putting up an obstructive platform). We'll still build the platform, but it will be primarily for those who will be doing the fine art painting on the reliefs. We can strip and paint the rest without it (learned from our experience with the Enlightenment Stupa). We'll have to be careful, but it gives us a lot more flexibility. That's the weather page open on my computer...not good news...
