The day ended with Pete in the community room. Pete and Chuck, regulars with the Stupas, are also our "tech guys". They've been working hard at updating the temple's information technology, so we can function more efficiently. They've gotten a new communication interface they're going to debute tonight. Worn out from the heat today, I asked for a preview, and Pete was happy to oblige!

I can't end a post without inviting you to join us here! Whether online, or in person (if you have the good fortune to be close to Poolesville!). The Stupas are here to benefit all beings, whether human or animal, or beings we can't even perceive. They offer blessings without restrictions or qualifications, freely and openly. In other countries they are regarded as objects of refuge, the very presence of Enlightenment in form. So too, are we here in the U.S. beginning to scratch the surface of their profound meaning.

Our Stupas here at KPC have all been built under the guidance of qualified teachers, they are fully empowered and consecrated in accord with ancient Tibetan Buddhist instructions. They are the real deal, right here in Maryland! So if you have the chance do come out and see them for yourself, they are a truly rare treasure, and offering to the world. For those of you unable to make it out here, we'll keep you fully posted right on this blog!Posted by Picasa
