Remember that crumbling corner out here? If not, this corner had chunks of old mortar popping off when we first started working out here. The reason being the grade of the step slopes in towards the Stupa, causing water to pool. So Norbu traced out a water line and then ground out a bed for the M90, our heftier repair material. He said the water he used to measure the depth and extent of the depression was definitely deeper than 1/4 inch, so he went with the heavier stuff. Here's how it looks! We're hoping this material doesn't go the same route as the previous attempts have...but all we can do is our best!
