Rene carefully primed every inch of the relief. She made sure there were no gaps or cracks that might allow moisture in. She finished just as dusk began to set in, and Lisa Banana rolled up in time to share some of her detail brushes for the more intricate areas. Lisa was a great sport, forgoing laundry (we have kept her busy this week!) to come open Migyur Dorje's eyes in response to a last minute request from yours truly...I did miss her today, but really, I hadn't intended to clean the paint off the eyes, it just came off as I was power washing other sections. The paint had just barely been hanging on in most places...
