James and I wrapped up the day by sweeping the Enlightenment Stupa. We found a visitor sweeping the fallen leaves from the lower steps when we pulled into the parking lot after working at the Stupa Park. Though we were overjoyed she was doing it, we realized we needed to get a ladder up and get the leaves off the upper steps too! So we did.

This gives me a new way to end...this woman brought the broom with her, had it wrapped carefully in white linen, and evidently used it for this purpose alone. We were inspired. You can see the Stupas have no owners, there is no restriction on who can benefit from them, none! To offer them flowers, incense or food, or to clean them with devotion, all this brings immense benefit which can also be dedicated to anyone and everyone you wish to see happy. This opportunity is here for you every day, every night, whenever you need it. You can find us in Poolesville, Maryland (see the link to KPC Maryland for our webpage and directions). The Stupas are here for you... Posted by Picasa
