Since Rene and Yecta had taken care of the Long Life Stupa, I could turn my attention to trying out the gold. Turns out it was much weirder to work with than I expected. It was very thin, watery, and the gold pigment was heavy and settled out quickly. Thus, it was not easy to work with. And, you can see from this photo, it won't cover in one coat, even with a good prime coat under it. That's par for the course. ; ) Posted by Picasa
