October 18th...Slow progress...

Okay, here's a shot from the weekend (haven't been out yet!). Ani Rene informed me this evening she went up and painted the spire of the Long Life Stupa today! So even though I worked some progress was made. I'm still nervous about paint consumption, but with a little more done we'll have a much better idea.

Tomorrow could prove interesting, as Ani Rene plans to lead an early crew, while I'll be there around noon (prayer shift in am). I'm going to play it by ear, see where everyone is at. It would be great to get the entire Long Life Stupa primed!

Now I know how Lisa feels (she often remarks it drives her crazy to see the blog, know we're out working, and not be able to be there! So too was it for me today, to hear from Ani Rene that she worked, and not having been able to get out there and contribute.

But tomorrow is a big day. Not only are we continuing work at the Stupa Park, but Khenpo Norgye is going to give teachings on the 21 Homages to Tara!

We welcome all visitors to KPC, whether you're Buddhist or not. We have over 65 acres of land, including this wonderful park. There are walking paths and gardens, and many places to find some peace and joy. The Stupas are sources of great blessings, including health and healing. There are many stories about people who've benefited from them, including our own Migyur Dorje Stupa! So please do come see them if you can! Posted by Picasa
