Here's a look at what James was working on...It became pretty clear to us the repairs out here will be taking longer than we thought. The damage here was extensive. The concrete you see exposed is very soft, crumbling. We're a little nervous about that crack you see going along there too...it extends all the way around to the front of the gau...we're not sure how deep it goes. We didn't fill this today, as it was getting late and as we're now into fall, the sun goes down early. We didn't want to commit to any more than we already had (the repair I started up top would need a few hours to cure before it would be ready to be taken down, and that would put us beyond sunset!) We set up some work lights (knowing we'd need'm) and went to get something to eat...
