After the peanut butter coat, the next step is filling the repair. The consistency of this stage is like that of sand you'd use to make a sandcastle out of, not nearly as wet as the "peanut butter" coat. This is the stage where the majority of the gap is filled. Working with this material is tricky, as it isn't sticky at all. You have to carefully press it into place firmly enough that it bonds to the peanut butter coat without breaking it up into clumps. James got the hang of it though!
