When examining the small Stupas I checked to see if our resident at the Paranirvana Stupa was still there, and sure enough...This is a copperhead, which is a poisonous snake. So far he hasn't caused any trouble, and we're happy to have a protector living under the Stupa. However, any visitors or weed whackers should take note!
