While I waited for the last bit of mortar to set up (so I could sponge it off) I took a break by sitting over the gau. Ashby was trying to convince me to come down for some water (it was really hot today), but it felt good just to sit in the shade (the spire cast a shadow over this part) and enjoy the view of the grounds. This photo is my attempt to share that experience with you! You can see Spike, my older dog, behind Ashby. Both dogs hung out in the puddle created by the leaky hose. Tucker, my little boy dog, layed right next to the leak so he got a fine spray over him. Pretty smart dude. : )
