The first thing David did on the bumpa was check out the spire. He's part of the Kagyu center (I wrote the wrong thing earlier this week) in Frederick, he helped out at the Nyingma Center in Germantown, but his teacher is Kagyu. They're planning to build a Stupa in Frederick! So he's paying close attention to construction as we go through this process. He was amazed at how well built the Stupa is, and how well done the spire is! He said he didn't think we'd have to worry about the wood inside the copper, he feels the copper will wear out before the wood degrades, as the construction of the spire is so well done!
