I left around 2pm, expecting to get to Cathedral Stone early enough to talk with them about the mortar issue and maybe even ask about some texture options for the base of the Long Life Stupa. Then I hit the beltway. I will say I actively avoid the beltway, or any area within it, so I'm not accustomed to this kind of situation. I spent years of my life stuck in traffic on these roads, and made up my mind I would avoid such circumstances at all costs. As I got stuck in traffic, I looked around me and thought of all those folks who do this every day. How amazing. Plenty of time to contemplate though...
