When Pete and I got back from Home Depot we found Norbu waiting for us. We all went down to look at the scaffolding and the spire. Pete had the idea that we could build a tighter scaffold around the spire itself, on top of the bumpa, in order to gain access to the full spire when applying gold leaf. Norbu thinks we can use ladders and achieve a similar effect with less effort and less of an investment....We'll see how it goes...
