When I saw this picture, I realized how amazing it is to work with Norbu. His devotion and courage contribute so much to this project! It is really inspiring to work with him. I know why his eyes are closed (my own are caked with dust for the same reason), and I know how it feels to be doing what he's doing. It reminds me of the sandblasting, where you just relax and let go of the pain, the dust, the awkward positioning, and focus on the Stupa. It may not sound like fun, but it really is a powerful practice....Guru Rinpoche's simple words "Whatever can be done, must be done..." Posted by Picasa
