So today we're taking down this wonderful platform! We need to get down under it to repair the upper steps in preparation for the painting we hope to start next week! We're hoping for a good crew, as this work is difficult, and according to David Parker, who helped us build this (and is coming to help us take it down), it is the most dangerous phase. Easy to get hurt by falling boards, exposed nails, that sort of thing....
