Here's a look at the upper steps from up there. We've made progress, but it took a lot more material then we thought. These steps were really rough, lots of holes (where there had been airbubbles in the pour of the concrete). This makes the surface really uneven, and more than that, is an area where the freeze-thaw cycle could lead to serious damage if we don't fill them in. In the past the "stucco" layer had achieved this. We couldn't order any more mortar today, as we have to check with the treasurer to see where we are budget wise. We'd just worked out a projection for completion...oh well...these things happen...Anyway, we'll get some more mortar on Tuesday. We've got lots to keep us busy between now and then... Posted by Picasa
