Here's a look at the mantras in stages. The one with the string is the final, you can see to even make one mantra roll is time consuming itself! Once you actually get a copy of the Tibetan mantras (a potentially very limiting factor), you print them, saffron water them, cut them, roll them and on. Many of these will go in one statue. I've diverted a little from Stupas today, as the statue issue came up full force. We'll be exploring both in coming days and weeks, as you will learn there is a close relationship between the two!
