Here it is after we applied it...we let it cook a while. You can see in the photo it has already started to absorb into the paint (the dark spots), but much was still on the surface. The stripper soaks through the paint down to the concrete where it stops (doesn't harm the substrate) and begins to bubble. That action pushes the paint off the surface, making it really easy to get off...
