May 15th...Teamwork and the Crunch...

Short post tonight, really tired. We worked all day, and had a great turn out. Norbu came early, but had to leave for work, so we were supported all day by ladies. : )

Ani Sherab Khandro joined us, visiting from Arizona. Ani Ella, who got her first taste of sandblasting yesterday was so excited she came dressed to work and worked all day, right up to the very end around 8 pm tonight. Lisa spent most of the day with us as well, though she had to duck out "early" for her 6 pm prayer shift. Ashby, our steadfast regular, stayed as long as he could, helping ensure we had sand. Howard joined us for the first time today, he jumped in without planning to! But by the end of the day it was just us Anis (Sherab, Ella and myself). We were determined to finish both walls, but it didn't happen. We worked really hard, but it reached the point where the sun was so low in the sky we couldn't see throught he hood. A problem under the best of conditions, it became impossible as dusk fell. So, we'll pass the baton to Norbu tomorrow! He's got a crew coming out to help him, so let's wish them swift completion!

I work the next few days. I'll ask Norbu for pictures, but he's got his work cut out for him. We can forgive him if he's too busy working to snap some pictures... : )

Again, remember all these efforts are dedicated to you, and all sentient beings. The Stupa exist only to benefit beings, to be a source of limitless blessing, all the time, every day. It is our greatest hope that you may take advantage of this profound offering to the world, and visit. Whether in person, or online here. The Stupas will bring you benefit, whether you understand them or not, whether you believe in them or not, they will bring blessings to you. So do feel free to come by! If you want to get your hands dirty we'll show you what to do, if not, you can just come check all this out for yourself! We love visitors!

We're still shooting for Saga Dawa (May 23rd). It might still be possible....
