We tried reusing sand today. Norbu picked up some finer screen than we had yesterday, which worked better. In the end we decided to use new sand all the way through though, recalling that this is an offering to the Stupa, to the body of the Buddha. With that in mind, it doesn't seem right to use old, used sand to clean it...
