Mikki joined us today, wanting to get involved with "Stupa stuff"...She helped Pema get the statue out of the gau! That's a big must weigh 100 lbs or more...We pulled all the wood strips from the interior in order to prep the surface for an application of rubberized paint (roofing paint) to seal the interior of the chamber from moisture. This was the first Stupa built on the property, and future Stupas all had a different design for the gau and chamber. We're working on converting this one to match the others. The change had been made due to moisture problems. So this was phase one of the transition... Posted by Picasa
