After we pulled off the plexi, Lisa spied this little dude. I picked him off the Stupa thinking he was a dead chunk of bug, but in fact he was still alive! And whole to boot! This is a close up of him, but he's smaller than a finger nail! He hung out while I switched lenses to get a macro shot, and patiently waited while I fussed with the slow focusing lens (cheap macro zoom lens, works, but really slow) and let me get a few shots in. Then, as Lisa insisted he was not dead (I was sure he was) he up and flew away! If you could have seen how beautiful his little metallic gold and black shiny body was...so weird...
