The day ended with a large tsog ceremony. It's a food offering practice (though through prayer the offerings are transformed into sacred offerings). These offerings are made to relieve the suffering of all beings. We do this practice daily, but on a special occasion the scale is larger. : ) So it was a busy day at KPC Maryland yesterday!

Just because the holiday has passed doesn't mean it isn't still worth while to come on out and see us though! The Stupas are slowly, slowly being brought into their proper state, and we're clearing the debris from many years of growth.

All of this is offered to anyone who wishes to share it, there is no requirement to come and experience this refuge for yourself. The doors are open 24 hours a day, every day, so there's never a time when someone seeking peace won't have a place to go! Posted by Picasa
