This is Lama Basaan, visiting us from Mongolia. You can see Konchog's blog for all the details, but this Lama was the only Buddhist Lama amongst the 13 that initiated the peaceful liberation of Monglia from communist rule! He and Lama Kuntuzangpo are visiting us here for the week, sharing their experiences in Mongolia from the perspective of Buddhist practitioners.
