It was slow going, but we did make some noticeable progress. The spire and firepit were done. We toasted one drill though, and will need to locate the key to replace the disk on the grinder, and we went through about a half dozen belts for the sander. Not easy on the tools, or those of us using them...but what else is new? : )
We'll be back out early tomorrow to work on it some more, but we've already accepted we won't finish. We'll be shooting for completing the bumpa and spire, and priming what we're able to complete sanding. We'll come back out the next warm day, be it spring or next week (we can't tell anymore!) and proceed from there.
We'll be cutting our work off a little early tomorrow though to prepare for Khenpo Norgye's first night of teaching! He's here in town now, and tomorrow night he'll start the weekend's teaching off at 7:30 pm. So please do come on out if you can!
