Sunday April 10th

Sundays are devoted to teachings and practice at the temple, so not a big work day for the Stupas. There was some activity during the breaks.

See the PHOTOS BELOW for a glimpse of what we were working on...

We're also turning out attention to next weekend. Our temple will be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the 24 hour Prayer Vigil, 20 years of UNBROKEN PRAYER! For our part, the Stupa Crew will be giving tours, and available to talk and answer questions. We'll also have photos of the Stupas (we'll leave ourselves out of them...promise) for guests to take home. If you can, please do join us!

Tomorrow work continues out at the Stupa Park in the morning. Hoping to get the base stripped clean. The afternoon we've set aside for the Soda Clean guy, to see what he has to offer.

As always, this project exists because there is suffering in the world, there is war, famine and loneliness, pain and sickness. The Stupas are here to bring the suffering of beings to an end, to give blessings and relieve sickness, to pacify strife and cultivate prosperity. We are here to ensure these tremendous sources of spiritual power remain in the world, so beings human and non can have a place of refuge. Thus, we invite you to come and enjoy our parks, our temple, our Stupas, and see some of this for yourself! If you decide you'd like to get involved, even for a few minutes, we'll help you get started!

If you are nowhere near Maryland or Washington D.C., you can continue to visit us here. This blog exists so that folks from anywhere in the world can participate in this amazing opportunity, whether as a witness, or as a sponsor, or as a practitioner, praying for the success of this endeavor. The Stupas are for you, where ever you are, who ever you are.
