The Migyur Dorje Stupa: Built at the request of Jetsunma Ahkon Lhamo with the specific intention that it be a source of healing from illness or injury, that it may become a place of pilgrimage for those suffering from ill health, phyiscal or mental. To this very day she has begged her students to utlilize it for this purpose, and to invite all beings to utilize it! This Stupa is always here (KPC Maryland), available to anyone who makes the journey to see it. It is located on our 65 acre Peace Park, where visitors can get away from the busy turmoil of Washington D.C., and enjoy the peace and beauty of this land of refuge. This Stupa is accessible by car (the road is rough and rutted, but passable by car) so even those who can't make the walk can get to it.
