Ani Rene giving this everything she's got. At this point it is clear we will not get all this paint off today, not even close. Words like "sand blaster" start rolling around in our heads. We all make vows we will never use this kind of paint again (although we aren't sure what it is...), and we talk about Milarepa as a way of generating courage. We do recognize, ultimately, this is a precious practice, an opportunity to really live the Dharma. Laboring to carry out the instructions of our Teacher, we are all grateful for this amazing opportunity, even if we do wish for a "faster, easier" shortcut.
