There is a peace that comes when tedium exhausts the will to resist. Though the body may become weary, the heart and mind settle into a quiet focus. Amber relaxes into the rhythm of power washing tiny areas of gooey paint, having let go of the desire to progress quickly, she's now content to be doing what must be done.
